Wolfgang David & Takeshi Kakehashi
In the space of a few short years, Viennese violinist Wolfgang David has established himself on the international stage, both as a recitalist, and as a guest soloist with many leading orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Berne Symphony Orchestra, New York Virtuosi etc.

Born in Tokyo to musician parents, Takeshi Kakehashi is prize winner of major competitions such as the Long-Thibaud Competition Paris. Since then he has performed extensively as a solo pianist, collaborating with great conductors such as Seiji Ozawa, Daniel Harding, and Fabio Luisi. He lost his eyesight to childhood cancer just a month after birth.

Wolfgang and Takeshi teamed up several years ago touring all over Central and South America, Japan, Austria, Russia, and the UK. Together they have released several prize-winning CDs.
